Nir Arieli is a NYC based photographer specializing in movement and portraits.

He is known for his digital double exposures and infrared / ultraviolet portraits. Born in Tel Aviv, Nir launched his career as a military photographer, before receiving his BFA from the School of Visual Arts. 

Nir values working with creative, smart and gentle people. His clients range from dance companies to corporations, schools, and cultural institutions. He takes pride in projects that have a positive impact on the world such as the Volunteers of America and the Estée Lauder campaigns. 

Fine Art

Nir’s two solo shows, ‘Inframen’ and ‘Flocks’, were exhibited at Daniel Cooney Fine Art gallery in NYC. Selected group shows include Sotheby’s Headquarters (NYC), the Museum of Greek Folk Art (Athens) and The Red House gallery (Tel Aviv). Nir’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Huffington Post, The Daily Telegraph, TimeOut and Haaretz. He has been a guest speaker for the International Center of Photography, the School of Visual Arts and the Fashion Institute of Technology’s photography programs.
