The War Inside
Moral Injury is a war inside. It’s the anguish caused by believing you’ve done something wrong or against your ethics. For some, it’s all-consuming. The guilt, shame, and anger can lead to addiction, isolation, and in some cases, suicide. Volunteers of America is prioritizing Moral Injury research and care to make sure no one fights alone.
